Eastern Gates County in northeastern North Carolina...
* Until 500 PM EDT.
* At 150 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding
across the warned area. Between 3 and 8 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. Additional rainfall
this afternoon may cause additional flash flooding or the current
flooding to worsen.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
