Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
counties, Broward and Miami-Dade.
* WHEN...Until 315 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 110 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Hollywood, Miramar, Miami Gardens, Hallandale, North Miami,
North Miami Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Opa-Locka,
West Park, Golden Glades, Hard Rock Stadium, Ojus, Miramar
Parkway And University Drive, Pembroke Park, Golden Beach,
Ives Estates, Fiu North Campus and Saint Thomas University.
