Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by
calling 5 1 1. Consider postponing boating activities on the lake
until a day with less wind.
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to 9 to 12 inches
above 6500 feet. At lake level and below 6500 feet, expect 2 to 6
inches of additional snowfall. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph
along the ridges, with gusts up to 35 mph at lake level.
* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring
down tree branches. Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be
prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until
conditions improve.
