Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20 NM... Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 1106 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 21 nm east of Talbot Island, or 41 nm southeast of St. Simons Island, moving northeast at 50 knots.
