At 404 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Rendon to 9 miles northwest of Lake Whitney State Park. Movement was east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Mansfield, Alvarado, Venus, Blum, Covington, and Lake Whitney around 410 PM CDT. Grand Prairie around 415 PM CDT. Midlothian and Grandview around 420 PM CDT. Whitney around 425 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Lovelace, Rio Vista, Kopperl, Parker, Cedar Shores, Mayfield, Griffith, Sand Flat, Egan, and Lillian.
