* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms with very heavy
rainfall are expected today and possibly into tonight and early
Saturday. A stalled front over the region will combine with
anomalously moist conditions and very unstable air, supporting
thunderstorms with intense rainfall rates of up to 3 inches per
hour. These rates will support a risk of flash flooding. Rainfall
totals of 2 to locally 5 inches are likely in the watch area
through early Saturday.
