* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central and Southern Pickens County in upstate South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 845 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. Water may cover some roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 453 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy downpours remaining nearly stationary over portions of central and southern Pickens County. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen already early this morning. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area.
