
The Account Executive I will leverage an existing network of P&C insurance broker, employer, and carrier relationships to drive new revenue.
You'll own the full sales cyclefrom prospecting, engagement, value building, proposal and ultimately closure.
Using data-driven insights the AE will drive marketing efforts and continuous improvement in their assigned territories.
This is a Hybrid role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Presentations & Consultations : Deliver expert presentations on CorVel's services and the disability compensation system to prospective and existing customers.
Sales Calls & Engagement : Conduct a minimum of 10 strategic sales calls each month, supplemented by a target of 50 prospect calls weekly; lead 35 face-to-face or virtual meetings per week, and participate in monthly sales strategy sessions with your manager.
Territory & Account Development : Meet or exceed branch-specific sales targets; identify and explore all lines of coverage within new and existing accounts to drive revenue growth.
Pipeline Management : Maintain a minimum of 25 active opportunities in Salesforce (SFDC); ensure 100% logging of all activities, next steps, and deal stages with up-to-date data.
Industry Events & Lead Generation : Exhibit at approved industry conferences; capture, qualify, and follow up on leads to accelerate pipeline progression.
Continuous Improvement : Leverage data-driven insights and post-mortem analyses of deals to refine sales strategies and decrease the loss rate over time.
Compliance & Administration : Adhere to CorVel's policies and procedures, including all safety rules under the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP); maintain regular attendance and complete additional duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Proven track record in P&C insurance, managed care, or a related field.
Selfmotivated professional, balancing customer needs with a resultsdriven mindset.
Knowledge of the insurance industry, managed care or related field is helpful Strong business acumen, polished presentation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships.
Exceptional interpersonal and customerservice orientation; able to work both collaboratively and independently.
Highly organized with strong analytical and timemanagement abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce CRM, and other sales technologies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business or sales/marketing Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Claims or Broker experience is a plus.
PAY RANGE: CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location.
Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions.
Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
