Essential Job Functions and

Responsibilities Audits technical reviews from physical audits.

Examines/audits records to ensure that calculations of earned premium for risks are accurate.

Validates that correct classes are being applied and in accordance with company procedures by reviewing financial records and other relevant materials.

Prepares voluntary audits to go out to insureds and monitors the return and completeness of incoming voluntary audits.

Interacts with customers to answer questions and encourage the return of completed audits.

Reviews result of audits with producers, underwriters, insureds, and Premium Audit leadership.

Identifies opportunities to resolve discrepancies.

Serves as initial audit dispute review.

Works to resolve disputed items.

May conduct telephone audits.

Maintains a working knowledge of rules and regulations applicable to jurisdictions and ensures correct and consistent application.

The person hired for this position will work out of the Lakeland FL office, which offers a hybrid work environment of 3 days in the office and 2 days' work from home. #LI-Hybrid Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Field of Study : Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.

Experience : Generally, 6 months to 3 years of related experience.

Associates in Premium Audit Program (APA) certification preferred.

Experience: No previous experience required.

Scope of Job/

Qualifications: Develops technical knowledge of various accounting principles and practices.

Works on assignments of low to moderate technical and logistical complexity.

Demonstrates foundational analytical and problem-solving skills.

Develops and maintains knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure that all audits are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and state laws.

Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and across departments.
