We are seeking an experienced Bodily Injury Complex Claims & Litigation Claims Manager to take charge of managing complex bodily injury claims, litigation, and overall claims management operations.
This key role requires someone who can drive operational excellence while ensuring compliance and superior service for policyholders.
You'll lead a high-performing team and oversee the entire claims lifecycle—from evaluating serious injuries to managing legal strategy and mediation.
Your leadership will be integral in enhancing the customer experience and improving overall outcomes.
What You'll Do Lead and manage a team focused on complex bodily injury (BI), litigation, and auto liability claims Oversee high-exposure claims, from evaluation to settlement Attend mediations and develop legal strategies to manage litigation and ensure favorable outcomes Ensure all claims processes comply with relevant insurance regulations, maintaining up-to-date best practices Collaborate with internal teams such as underwriting, SIU, legal, and external vendors to drive continuous improvement in claim management Analyze medical records, coverage issues, and high-value settlements to ensure precise and accurate assessments of claims Manage claims across multiple jurisdictions, including California, Texas, Arizona, and beyond What Makes You a Great Fit 7+ years of claims experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role Extensive experience in handling complex bodily injury, litigation, and multi-jurisdictional claims Proven expertise in negotiation, legal strategy, and coverage analysis
Experience managing claims in California, Texas, and Arizona Familiarity with Guidewire, CCC, or similar claims management platforms Strong background in mediation, arbitration, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Knowledge of fraud detection techniques and claims analytics Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary (based on experience) Performance-Based Bonus Comprehensive Benefits Package
