We're seeking a Claim Assistant to support our busy claims department.
This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative capabilities, a passion for service, and a desire to grow within the insurance industry.
Whether you're already in the field or looking to transition into insurance, we'd love to meet you! Duties and responsibilities: Logging, processing, and routing incoming and outgoing electronic and physical mail.
Answering phones and assisting policyholders, agents, brokers, and claimants with claim updates.
Maintaining claim-related records, databases, and vendor profiles.
Assisting with new loss set-ups, archive file requests, and underwriting communication.
Supporting special projects.
Experience: A passion for excellent customer service and problem-solving.
Strong communication skills verbal and written.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and a willingness to learn our internal claim system.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent insurance administrative experience).
Previous experience in the U.S. property & casualty insurance industry.
Extra Credit: Spanish as a second language.
Compensation: $50,000 to $55,000.
