As a Commercial Lines Underwriter, you will be responsible for monitoring the risk and profitability of business submitted by binding wholesale producer partners.

This includes evaluating referral business, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, and contributing to the development of a balanced, profitable book.

The role offers a collaborative environment and the opportunity to influence underwriting strategy in key markets.

Key

Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with producers to ensure consistent flow of high-quality business.

Guide producers in interpreting and applying underwriting guidelines.

Evaluate referral business and determine appropriate pricing and coverage terms.

Monitor premium audits for bound policies and take corrective action as needed.

Skills &

Experience 4 to 10+ years of commercial underwriting experience, depending on the level of the role.

Strong knowledge of commercial coverages and underwriting risk assessment.

Experience working with wholesale brokerages and binding authority relationships.

Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed, strategic underwriting decisions.

Familiarity with bind producer distribution systems.
