Job Description: Controls Operation Analyst How does this role contribute to our collective success? Supports the business to ensure adherence to requirements, whether ours or a regulator's.

Any deviation from stipulated objectives is analysed to reduce and avoid future issues.

To prevent issues and implement change to bring clarity or guidance around our expectations.

What will you do in this role? Work within Control Operations to assist the Control Services Manager by: Providing oversight to business tasks Maintaining Control Operations procedural documents Developing new approaches for Control Operations Monitoring accuracy of data and reports Management and creation of allocated control exceptions, including but not limited to: Maximum line and letter of authority checks Deductions and intermediary remuneration review Risk code permissions Maintain and ensure business underwritten complies with: Lloyd's and other Regulatory Principles, AXIS Underwriting Framework, including: - Underwriting Protocols, - Underwriting Guidelines, - Letters of Authority Monitor accuracy and review completeness of data to ensure validity of: Reporting, regulatory or otherwise Underwriter Performance returns Classifications that trigger validation or investigation Undertake thematic reviews, including; Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Recommend remedial actions Liaising with other functions to enhance functional aspects You may be asked to adopt other duties or responsibilities appropriate to the unit.

What you need to have: Knowledge of Lloyd's market returns and of Lloyd's Underwriting Principles Strong communication skills Excellent accuracy/attention to detail.
