They are actively seeking forward-thinking Excess Casualty Underwriters in Scottsdale and Chicago to join their organization.

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining a profitable book of excess casualty business while building strong relationships with wholesale agents and brokers.

Responsibilities Collaborate with wholesale agents and brokers to drive high-quality submissions Evaluate submissions to determine appropriate pricing and coverage terms Monitor new and renewal business performance for profitability and underwriting action Achieve production, marketing, and profitability goals Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and claim developments to refine underwriting strategy Skills &

Experience Depending on level of position, 4 to 9 or 10+ years of commercial excess casualty underwriting experience Strong understanding of excess casualty coverages and risk analysis Proven ability to evaluate data and make informed underwriting decisions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $85,000 – $200,000 Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, vacation, and additional PTO
