Job Description

The Nissan Training family is responsible for supporting retail product and participation programs training to enhance national sales and account retention for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC) and Nissan Extended Services North America (NESNA).

F&I Specialist is a master of all NESNA business operations and F&I related sales processes. The F&I Specialist is the ADS (Allstate Dealer Services) process and program expert that aids NMAC and NESNA in maximizing all VSC, GAP and ancillary program participation while focusing on account retention by providing both internal and external training and sales support.  F&I Specialist is also the primary point of contact for individual in-store training. The F&I Specialist is a subject matter expert in all areas Security+Plus (S+P), Infiniti Elite Protection Plan (IEPP) and Mitsubishi (DCPP). The F&I Specialist provides training support to dealers on a regional basis to maximize dealer production and profits with all NESNA programs and NNA Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) programs.

This role will require traveling between Seattle and Portland Oregon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an ADS relationship manager for all producing dealers in assigned territory.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly scheduled, in-store training visits for new hires and experienced dealership staff in individual and group training formats
  • Coordinate weekly/monthly schedule and support activity through Area Manager to determine appropriate regional and dealer support plan
  • Participate in the completion of the ADAP process with assigned dealers and Regional Account Managers
  • Train and implement Allstate’s F&I selling process including 100% Deal Review , Menu, Disclosure process execution as needed region wide
  • Train and implement Allstate’s  Compliance curriculum as needed region wide
  • Track and monitor improvement utilizing Allstate’s ADAP Deal Review process as necessary to track improvement needs and interview/menu/disclosure usage
  • Participate in all regional training initiatives and interface with National Training Manager, National Training Instructor, Area Manager and others as necessary to ensure most effective training material
  • Mastery level knowledge of all assigned ADS and NESNA processes and systems
  • Reports to Training Manager to ensure adherence to ADS process standards. Takes a lead role in their continuing development with immediate supervisor.
  • Assist region in attainment of Regional production goals in VSC, Gap and Ancillary product lines

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years successful retail automotive experience within the last 3-5 years in a mid to large volume dealership as a Business Development Center (BDC) Manager level or higher
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at a professional level with internal and external personnel
  • General Knowledge of competitive VSC programs and providers or industry corporate experience
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Efficiently manage time to accomplish all goals and objectives
  • Proven ability to build lasting and synergetic relationships dealer/retailer personnel including DP/EM/GM/F&I/Sales/Service/Administration Office
  • Ability to grow professionally within area of responsibility
  • College graduate preferred
  • Ability to travel 50 – 75% of time depending on assigned territory
