Health Insurance Concierge Advocate (Medicare & ACA Expert) Location: Wyckoff, NJ (Hybrid Preferred) | Full-Time or Part-Time | Remote Flexibility Only candidates with an active U.S.

Health Insurance Producer License and direct Medicare and ACA brokerage experience will be considered.

Do you thrive in a consultative, client-facing role where your expertise makes a real difference? Emry, an affiliate of Goodroot, is hiring a Health Insurance Concierge Advocate to deliver white-glove service to executive and high-net-worth clients, not chase commissions.

This is a service-first position, not a producer or sales role.

You'll be guiding clients through complex health plan choices, resolving claims and billing issues, and serving as a trusted advisor across private, ACA, and Medicare markets.

Minimum

Qualifications (Knockout Criteria) To be considered, you must meet the following requirements: Active Health Insurance Producer License (in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure preferred) Demonstrated experience evaluating and recommending ACA health plans

Experience handling small group plans (under 50 employees) Hands-on expertise with Medicare plan selection Proven track record in health insurance brokerage and client advocacy Deep understanding of the private insurance market, with a clear commitment to staying informed through continuing education, compliance updates, or industry publications What You'll Do Act as a licensed health insurance advocate providing personalized plan selection support for ACA, Medicare, and private market clients Manage all aspects of claims, billing errors, pre-authorizations, appeals, and Rx coverage issues Support executive-level clients with white-glove service and exceptional responsiveness Track case notes and communication history via CRM and case management platforms Stay ahead of regulatory updates and health plan changes across states and carriers What You Bring 5+ years in insurance account management, client advocacy, or healthcare navigation Strong grasp of claims resolution, EOB interpretation, and medical billing processes Outstanding communication, presentation, and documentation skills Comfort working with high-net-worth individuals and complex family plans Tech-savvy with tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and CRM platforms Bachelor's degree preferred Preferred But Not Required Certification in medical billing or coding
