You'll play a critical role in managing general ledger operations, reporting integrity, and partnering cross-functionally with actuarial, claims, and tax stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing Lead general ledger processes related to legacy technical accounts and non-technical balances across multiple U.S. insurance entities Manage month-end close procedures: post adjustments, reconcile balances, ensure completeness of reinsurance and MGA accounts Maintain key reporting files (e.g., LPT movements, trial balances, and premium tax data extracts) Collaborate directly with actuaries, claims, and external tax consultants to deliver accurate data Participate in legacy actuarial update meetings and analyze developments impacting ledger integrity Run regular and ad hoc reporting for finance and non-finance teams Ensure all processes comply with U.S. regulatory, tax, and financial reporting standards What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration CPA coursework completed or in progress preferred Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, ideally in the insurance or financial services industry Strong command of Excel; ERP systems knowledge (SAP a plus) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to problem-solve complex accounting issues and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
