The details Our bond underwriters focus on two fundamental questions: Should Liberty Mutual issue a bond to a particular customer? What will the financial terms and conditions of the bond be? Join our team as an surety underwriting intern and challenge yourself to uncover the answers.

During this 11 week internship, youll acquire and develop analytical skills and knowledge in financial and credit analysis, marketing, account evaluation, and/or contract and project risk assessment necessary to underwrite Surety bonds.

Qualifications What youve got You are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or comparable with at least one semester remaining following the Summer of 2026 with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA .

You have 0-2 years of professional experience.

You possess strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiating skills.

You have solid interpersonal skills and demonstrate a passion for customer service and fostering relationships.
