SVP Surety Claims
May 10 Anywhere, USA Genesis ResourcesOverview: The Senior Vice President of Claims Surety will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving all types of complex surety bond claims. This individual will supervise and manage Surety Claims Examiners within the department and will also work with the Underwriting Team, Actuarial Unit, and Ceded Reinsurance Unit to ensure best practices and stay at the forefront of the industry.
Functions:
• Provide vision and leadership to the Surety Claims Team.
• Investigate, analyze, negotiate, and resolve claims made on commercial and contract bond claims.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to mitigate bond claim loss exposures.
• Leverage technology and processes to drive innovation within the department.
• Manage and evaluate outside vendors.
• Collaborate and coordinate with Surety Underwriters on existing and emerging claims matters and provide subject matter expertise on indemnity and legal matters.
• Manage, supervise, and train claims handlers.
• Maintain compliance with Corporate Audit and SOX policies and procedures.
