More information is available on the company's website at: > . *This is a hybrid role 3 days per week from our New York City office SUMMARY Responsible for supporting Alliant's Transactional Risk team with placements, marketing efforts, underwriting submissions, and M&A processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the team with placing for Alliant clients in the following: Representations & Warranties Insurance for M&A and Real Estate deals, Tax Liability Insurance, Litigation Insurance, and insurance for other contingent risks in M&A and non-M&A situations; Provide support with marketing efforts, including research, creation of marketing materials, white papers, and other external communications; Review and summarize key parts of insurance indication letters and transaction documents; Interact with insurance companies, clients, and client advisors via telephone and email; Prepare underwriting submissions, indication decks, and binding packages; Review M&A data room, financials, legal documents, and other relevant materials; Organize and participate in underwriting calls with carriers and clients; Coordinate Confidentiality Agreements, Brokerage Agreements, client advisor non-reliance letters, and other engagement materials; Coordinate compliance filings and internal audits; Assist with processing billing, and follow up with clients on past due accounts; Review policy documents for accuracy; Complete all post binding subjectivities including but not limited to delivery of data room contents, closing set, and surplus line forms; Create databases and processes to track relevant deal related information, client lists, and meetings; Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enter and maintain complete and accurate information); Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience Two (2) or more years' related work experience preferred
Experience in legal, tax, or accounting preferred Requires a valid insurance license; must continue to meet requirements for license renewal SKILLS Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and research skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to perform legal research Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to work collaboratively within a team and to foster teamwork #LI-DR1
