Key

Responsibilities Build and implement detailed underwriting guidelines and processes for your program.

Oversee risk selection, pricing, and portfolio performance to ensure underwriting profitability.

Serve as the financial and strategic lead for your program book of business.

Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of underwriters.

Collaborate with actuarial, claims, regulatory, legal, and loss control teams.

Leverage cutting-edge technology platforms to drive efficient underwriting and performance tracking.

What Makes You a Great Fit 10+ years of P&C underwriting experience , preferably with MGA, program, or carrier leadership background.

Demonstrated success managing profitable programs and navigating the MGA model.

Deep knowledge of insurance forms, filings, risk analytics, and exposure trends .

Strong reputation and relationships in your specialty market.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and own a business.

Comfortable working cross-functionally with actuarial, operations, legal, and finance.

Proficiency with modern underwriting platforms and data-driven decision-making.
