Job Description: Underwriting Technical Services Analyst How does this role contribute to our collective success? The purpose of this role is to support the Insurance Bureau signings process for ensuring all premium signings received are allocated and reconciled correctly.
Working collaboratively with Underwriters and other teams within Global Operations especially Credit Control and Finance to ensure Aged Rec numbers remain low.
What will you do in this role? Support all month end A&R activities ensuring premium signings are cleared and allocated.
Ensuring queries from our offshore team, Underwriters, Finance and Credit Control are dealt with in a timely manner, including regular chasers and feedback loops.
Experience in handling Open Market and Delegated Underwriting Authority business.
Processing and reconciling Lloyd's and Company Energy signings.
Analysing and reconciling errors raised by Credit Control Team.
Supporting further transition opportunities with our offshore team.
Working to reduce the Aged Rec and Finance Rec balances supporting Credit Control and Finance.
Constant review of Queried Amounts and Suspense Accounts.
Undertake face-to-face meetings with Underwriting teams with the intention to resolve issues Attend the relevant market meetings/ updates / training sessions held by XIS to enhance knowledge and monitor changes in market premium and settlement procedures.
Assisting in putting together monthly reporting packs.
Assist with ad hoc tasks within the team where appropriate.

Knowledge of Iris Insurance Systems beneficial but not required.
