They currently seek a Work Comp Underwriting professional to join their team.

This position is responsible for underwriting and servicing both new business submissions and renewals.

This position is also responsible for the training of Underwriting Assistants.

Duties and

Responsibilities Underwrite and grow a profitable book of business.

Review Due Diligence reports, Loss control surveys, and loss runs.

Collaborate with specialists such as premium auditors, claims adjusters, and loss control engineers.

Manage and delegate the activities of underwriting assistants on a regular basis.

Experience and

Qualifications 3+ years of commercial insurance experience, with at least 2 years of Workers' Compensation underwriting experience.

Knowledge of large account rating programs (e.g., Large Deductibles, Retrospective Rating, etc.).
