The insurance industry is making great strides to put DEI on its front burner, and while studies have shown that the insurance industry is more gender diverse, it is less racially diverse than the average industry in North America. A 2022 McKinsey report found that within the industry, the entry level is 19 percent women of color and eight percent men of color. When it comes to the C-suite, it drops to three percent for women of color and seven percent for men of color. With this shortage of diversity, it is becoming more difficult for insurance companies to recruit and retain diverse talent, understand the populations that they serve, and adapt to rapidly changing demographic trends. In this webinar, participants will offer insight into how to attract new talent, reimagine traditional recruiting practices, and increase retention by mentoring and illustrating the immense career opportunities available in the industry.
