One person has died and least five others have been injured as a powerful storm raked Western Washington Monday. The fatality occurred in Renton where a tree fell onto a car with two women and a young girl inside in the 17900 block of 158th Place SE, according to Sgt. Joe Hauk with the King County Sheriffs Office. The 33-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene while the front seat passenger, her 33-year-old sister, was in critical condition, Hauk said. The young girl, who is the 4-year-old daughter of the driver, reportedly had minor injuries.
