Authorities have identified an 11-year-old boy who died Wednesday morning after he was hit by a vehicle at a bus stop. Theo Helm confirmed Hasani Wesley, 11, was struck by a Jeep around 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Shaddowfax Drive and Old Hollow Road. Wesley was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with "serious" injuries, officials said. Around 10 a.m., Trooper Dixon confirmed the boy, who was a sixth-grader at East Forsyth Middle School, had died from his injuries. Troopers confirmed the bus stop arm was deployed at the time of the accident.
