A 12-year-old boy who got behind the wheel after he got the OK from his mother accidentally drove the SUV into the back of a Kuna home. The Ada County Sheriffs Office says the mother allowed her son to drive in the Reed Elementary School parking lot at about 7:30 p.m. Monday when he lost control. The Toyota 4-Runner went over a fence, drove over a walking patch, crashed into a pickup truck and then the house. No injuries were reported to the boy and his mother or anyone in the house.
The sheriff says the home sustained "significant damage."
