Two high school students were killed and two other teens were critically injured early Sunday morning when their speeding sport utility vehicle went airborne for 40 feet before slamming into a tree, Wheat Ridge police said. The crash killed the driver of the SUV, Tyler Lovell, 18, of Golden, and front-seat passenger, Rain Walsh, 17, of Lakewood, according to the Jefferson County coroner. Lovell was a student at Lakewood High School and Walsh attended Wheat Ridge High School, police said.
