Monday, September 14th, 2015 Property

The American Red Cross is helping 20 people find a place to stay after a two-alarm fire forced them from their homes late Thursday night. It happened at around 11:00 p.m. at the Creekbend Condominiums, located along Abrams Road near the LBJ Freeway. Firefighters arrived at the scene to find flames shooting through the roof of the two-story building. A total of eight units were destroyed in the fire, leaving the 20 residents without a place to live. But, thankfully, everyone was able to get out quickly and nobody was injured.
