Oklahoma insurance commissioner declares emergency to speed claims

Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner Kim Holland issued an emergency order on Tuesday aimed at speeding up insurance claims in the state in the wake of Monday's deadly horde of tornadoes. The declaration, which is routine in cases of widespread insured property losses, enables emergency claims adjusters to be licensed temporarily to expedite the insurance claims process and provide immediate assistance.
