A wildfire burning north of the Camarillo city limits threatened 50 homes and prompted evacuation orders at close to 100 residences Tuesday, but it was reported 60 percent contained by dusk and unlikely to spread. First reported about 3 p.m. Tuesday, the fire that burned northeast toward Somis had claimed no structures or lives by nightfall. No injuries were reported except for a minor incident in which a county firefighter twisted an ankle.
