Nicole Floods in North Carolina Take 6 Lives
Tuesday, October 5th, 2010 Auto Catastrophe PropertyNorth Carolina Gov. Beverly Perdue, who declared a state of emergency due to flooding from Tropical Storm Nicole, on Sunday visited Windsor, an eastern town still rebuilding from the flood of Hurricane Floyd in 1991. The North Carolina State Emergency Response Team said that much of Windsor is expected to remain under water for several days. Over the weekend, the downtown was evacuated.
