Wilkes County insurance agent charged with insurance fraud

Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin today announced the arrest of Frances Moore, 62, of Moravian Falls. Moore, an insurance agent and owner and operator of Fran Moore Allstate Agency, is charged with 14 counts of insurance fraud. Department of Insurance criminal investigators allege that Moore substantially misrepresented her actual loss when she submitted claims documentation to Allstate Insurance after a June 2008 fire at her Wilkes County home.
