While the holidays are a time meant for making memories, licensed public adjusters hear some of the worst seasonal mishaps. For homeowners, it might be a kitchen grease fire caused by a mishandled turkey; sometimes an unattended fireplace or even a misplaced candle have resulted in a spike in home insurance claims nationwide each November and December.
