Retailers Casualty Insurance to Offer Workers’ Compensation in Texas

Baton Rouge, La.-based workers’ compensation insurer Retailers Casualty Insurance Co. announced it will begin offering workers’ compensation coverage in Texas. Retailers Casualty, which is managed by Summit Consulting Inc., said it has received all regulatory approvals from the Texas Department of Insurance. Retailers Casualty currently insures more than 2,000 businesses throughout Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi and is rated A- (Excellent) by A.M. Best Company.
