Auto shop owner accused of fraud

The owner of a Somerville auto shop has been accused of adding to the damage of vehicles that were in car accidents in order to drive up insurance claims, State Police said yesterday. Michael Block, 38, of Natick, the owner of Motor Sports Inc., was arrested Friday and faces several counts of insurance fraud, malicious destruction of property, forgery, uttering, and larceny, police said in a statement.
