As it has since 2008, Tampa remains the second worst city in Florida for fraudulent auto insurance claims. Miami stayed in the top spot and Orlando maintained its third-place ranking. The National Insurance Crime Bureau released its analysis of questionable claims for Florida and found that 22,679 claims were referred to the bureau for further examination last year, a 34 percent increase from 2008. Of those 22,679 questionable claims, 84 percent came from personal automobile policies.
