Woman Dies After Plunging off West L.A. Parking Structure

A woman is dead after her vehicle plunged from the fourth floor of a parking structure in West Los Angeles. It happened around 9:50 a.m. Tuesday at the parking structure for the Sports Club L.A. on Sepulveda Boulevard and Nebraska Avenue. The SUV crashed through a barrier and plunged four stories before landing on its roof, according to Los Angeles Fire Department officials. The victim is described as a 76-year old woman. She was found in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and was declared dead at the scene. Investigators say she was alone in the vehicle.
