Tornadoes cause heavy damage in W Mass

A tornado outbreak caused damage across Western Massachusetts Wednesday afternoon, including one that crossed the Connecticut River from West Springfield into the city’s downtown and South End, crossing the Connecticut River and Interstate 91.
