 Wyoming Tribune Eagle

Kari Kubista eases her Honda Accord under a tent and out of the early-morning sun. Hopping out quickly, she looks around for someone in charge. An insurance adjustor steps over and takes a step back in almost the same motion when he sees her car. Kubista nods at this reaction. The damage to her car during last week’s storm has had the same effect on a lot of people. Kubista’s blue Accord looks as if it has been worked over systematically by a ball-peen hammer. From the hood to the trunk, row after row of small dimples map out the damage that the hail wreaked on her car.
