Car Crashes Into Restaurant Dining Room

A car crashed into an old Taco Bell building at 1504 Keowee St. in Dayton on Monday morning. Police said the car went off the road and directly into Johnny’s Tortas. The owner said he had just unlocked the door a few minutes before the crash and had gone back to the kitchen. Gary Filburn said he witnessed the crash. "I just happened to look. It was like slow motion right out of the movies," said Gary Filburn. Filburn was at Legacy Pancake next door where the restaurant was packed. He said it was lucky that the other restaurant was not.
