U.S. Highway 34 reopened at I-25 in Loveland Monday more than 12 hours after a tanker truck crashed and burst into flames. The fuel tanker rolled over and caught fire just after 9 p.m. Sunday. It burned for several hours. Firefighters from Loveland, Poudre, Berthoud, Windsor and Johnstown fire districts worked to extinguish the flames and contain the spilled fuel. Information about the driver wasn’t released. Loveland police spokesman Sgt. Mike Halloran says it wasn’t known if there were any passengers in the truck.
