Authorities in Michigan said firefighters in Flint responded to five fires at vacant buildings during 4-hour span over the weekend. The fires on the city’s east side were reported Saturday night. Other area departments assisted in extinguishing the blazes. Two fires were at commercial structures and three were at residential buildings.
