A total of 17 people were injured Tuesday after a building under construction partially collapsed in Harlem. According to officials, the two-story building located at West 125th St. and St. Nicholas Ave. subsided some time after 9:30 a.m. Debris, mostly bricks, rained onto the sidewalk and onto a bus stop along West 125th St. where an MTA bus was in the process of picking up passengers. Parts of the scaffolding made contact with the Bx 15 bus, collapsing on the backside of the vehicle. Of the injured included four construction workers, one who reportedly jumped off the scaffolding at the point of collapse.
