Pennsylvania brothers charged with stealing bridge, selling the metal for scrap

Two brothers have been charged with stealing a western Pennsylvania bridge in order to sell the metal for scrap. The Patriot-NewsPolice allege that Benjamin Arthur Jones, 24, and Alexander William Jones, 25, of New Castle used a blowtorch to break up the 50-foot long by 20-foot wide Covert’s Crossing Bridge sometime between Sept. 27 and Oct. 5. They face felony charges of criminal mischief, theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
