Car Crashes Inches From Sleeping Woman

A woman is startled but uninjured after a driver crashed into her northwest Oklahoma City apartment and stopped just inches from her head. It happened early Wednesday morning near Northwest 38th Street and Meridian Avenue. Witnesses said the car came racing through the apartment parking lot, hit a parked car and then smashed into the apartment before speeding off. The car smashed into Susie Thorton’s bedroom, sending splintered wood and debris flying. She was sleeping just inches from where the car stopped.
