Bluff collapses at We Energies construction site sending containers, construction equipment into Lake Michigan

It was a case of now you see it, now you don’t! A satellite image of the We Energies power plant in Oak Creek shows a bluff, overlooking Lake Michigan. Now, a big chunk of the hill - the size of a football field, has given way, sending mud, trailers and at least one car sliding into Lake Michigan! It all happened Monday at the site of We Energies coal-fired power plant in Oak Creek, and now, the obvious concern is: did any pollutants get into the lake? The other big question: how could this happen?
