One Dead, Two Seriously Injured In Coventry House Explosion

At least one person has died and two other were seriously injured after an explosion, possibly of a propane tank, destroyed a house on Old Oak Trail. Witnesses reported a big explosion about 7:20 p.m., followed by a secondary explosion. Residents were evacuated from the immediate neighborhood. The witnesses said that a man lived in the home and that his parents were visiting at the time of the explosion. According to residents of the area, power knocked out by the Oct. 28 snowstorm had been restored in the neighborhood yesterday.
