Thursday, November 10th, 2011 Property

An 8-point buck that smashed through the front window of a Goodwill store in Kent County was tranquilized and then euthanized by authorities. The deer crashed through a window of the store at 5371 Alpine Avenue around 8:19 a.m. Police told 24 Hour News 8 they think the deer may have seen itself in the reflection of the window, causing it to leap through. The animal was injured and bleeding from the shattered glass, and the children’s clothes near that window were the most damaged items.
