High winds cause damage across the state

Powerful wind gusts have ripped across Colorado over the past two days, peaking at more than 100 miles per hour in some areas across the Front Range. The gusts also caused a variety of damage to trees, homes, and other buildings. Estes Park resident Shirley Olson had a tree fall down just feet from her house. "I happened to look out the window and there it was," Olson said. Not too far away, another fallen tree took out Jerry Blackmore’s car.
